Walking & Rights of Way

The parish of Guestling and Three Oaks is crossed by many footpaths and bridleways. A list of rights of way crossing the parish, with OS map references, can be downloaded in .pdf format: Rights of Way.

Walk4Life: Walking for Health encourages people to bcome physically active in their local communities, supporting the largest network of health walk schemes across England. Established in 2000, the program continues to expand with over 600 walk schemes nationwide contributing to improving the health of over 66,000 regular participants, over 12,700 of these in the South East Region. We would like to start a local group in the Guestling, Three Oaks & Pett area to run weekly or monthly walks to combine the enjoyment of some healthy exercise with the task of checking all the rights of way within the parish to ensure they stay open and passable.

If you would be interested in joining the group, simply as a regular walker or as a walk leader, click here to contact us

More information will appear on this page regarding the setting up of the walking group and dates of walks as and when they are arranged.

Hastings & Rother Bridleways Association (HARBA), which is affiliated with the British Horse Society, was launched to improve and restore bridleways for the enjoyment of the area’s riders.
